Demand for fertilizer will likely pick up as we move closer to planting time.

David Asbridge is President and Senior Economist with NPK Fertilizer Advisory Service and he's expecting fertilizer prices will likely move up in the next few months.

He recommends producers have at least 75% of their spring nitrogen and phosphate needs locked in already and says potash will likely be available at current prices through the spring season.
